Marshall was born in High Point, NC.  He lived in Jamestown most of his younger life.  He moved to Greensboro where he graduated high school.  After graduating from high school he joined the US Coast Guard.  After returning home, he became a professional musician for the next 25 years playing country and gospel music.  After a lot of prayers from his mother, he accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 1970.  For years he served as a Sunday School teacher and participated in visitation groups.  In 2002 while attending Clifton Road Baptist Church, God called him into ministry to serve in the area of Pastoral Care.  Marshall has successfully attended classes through Cone Hospital Pastoral Care.  He and his wife Evelyn joined Memorial Baptist Church and he joined the ministry staff.  Marshall is grateful for the love and support that he receives from his church family.

Sandra Turner

Church Financial Secretary

memorialbaptist@windstream.net

In May of 2015 Sandra completed 34 years of service at Memorial.  She has had the opportunity to know many of the generations that moved this church from a dream to a reality.  Many secretaries prefer to serve and worship in different places.  However, for Sandra she cannot imagine serving and worshipping anywhere other than right here at Memorial.  It has been an honor and a joy for her to serve in the many years that she has served.  She and her husband Sam are actively involved in many areas of service at Memorial.  Serving here at Memorial has been one of the greatest joys in Sandra’s life.
